The start to an amazing story of hope

Have you ever heard of the butterfly effect? What about that one person can change the world? Have you ever had a horrible day, and had a stranger be amazingly sweet to you, with a big smile, for no reason and it makes your day turn around?  That is how we feel, we can be that butterfly, that one person, that smile on a stranger's face.

Over the course of the last 4 months we have shared stories of 48 amazing Fighters and their battle with childhood cancer, including the inspiration for the project: Ava. During that time we have also set in motion over 200 Fighter sessions and will post their stories as they come in. We are eternally honored that each of our Fighter Families have allowed us into their lives, and to share their little Fighter with the World through The Gold Hope Project. Our Project is growing, and we expect it to skyrocket further very soon as we obtain our Non-Profit 501(c)3 status in the coming months. With that status, everything changes for the better.

The Gold Blog will be a place with raw emotions, first hand accounts from parents, grandparents, siblings and Fighters themselves. We will also have stories from photographers, about how these strong kids have impacted their lives. Alongside all of that, we will also have information on the medical side: advances, set backs, general information and everything else medically related to childhood cancer. We will throw in some fabulous creative posts as well, to help everyone capture the moments that are important - the little ones at home.

So please, sit back and take in all that will come from our Gold Blog. If you happen to be looking for stories and information on certain types of cancer, use the labels/topics to choose. Leave some love and support for the families that come to share their stories and embrace them, however they feel. If you are interested in writing for our Gold Blog please contact us.
