Meet Haileigh

Miss Haileigh, 2, had been experiencing some strange symptoms in the time leading up to her diagnosis of ALL in September, 2012. She was running random fevers, having weird rashes, bruising that was not going away, and having leg pain - debilitating leg pain. When Haileigh's mom discovered a bump under Haileigh's arm one day, she decided the doctors needed to take action. She got an appointment that day to see the doctor. From that day on, their family's life would not be the same. After blood samples were taken and then rechecked just to make sure, the diagnosis of ALL was given. Haileigh immediately started treatment, and now, four months later, her counts are 0. She will continue with the chemotherapy and the normal protocols for this, but right now Haileigh is still smiling and bringing great joy to all of those around her.
