Meet Kate

This courageous little fighter is 10 year old Kate. She was diagnosed in August of 2010 with ALL, Leukemia. She is the most determined, upbeat, wise beyond her years little wonder. She just finished treatment one month ago! She is in the 5th grade and loves to draw and read books. She just started a gymnastics program and doesn't mind at all that "littler" kids in her class are way ahead of her. She is very, very social and gets along with lots of kids. She however has a few very close friends and she likes more than anything to spend time with these girls. She hopes to play soccer in the Summer. She and her family have been on an incredible journey with this cancer and feel they are all the better for it. Kate is an inspiration to us all!
