Meet Aiden

Aiden was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) at just 5 months old. What seemed to be his first sickness, seemingly turned into a diagnosis that would show the world just how strong little Aiden's will to fight would be. With his Mommy and Daddy by his side “Iron Aiden” went through 54 weeks of chemotherapy and 29 days of proton beam radiation, he flew on his first plane, lived in a big city, stole the hearts of countless nurses and became an inspiration to so many. Through strength and courage, as well as the support of his wonderful family, I am so happy to share that Aiden completed his treatment protocol in August of 2011. . His latest scan in January 2013 showed no evidence of recurrent or residual disease. Aiden is now a busy toddler sharing his contagious smile and typical three year old antics with the world. I hope that Aiden's story will inspire other families to never give up hope. Images by: Jaime Scott Photography
