Meet Alex

Alex is 10 years old, loves football, fishing and playing video games. His favorite teams are the Colts and Cardinals. He is a 4th grader at Hoover Elementary in Bettendorf, IA. He has two older sisters Courtney and Taylor. He has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He was diagnosed at 6 years old. He relapsed 3 years after first being diagnosed. He then received a bone marrow transplant in September 2012 with his sister, Courtney, as his donor. He relapsed again in February 2013. Currently they are searching for an unrelated donor for another bone marrow transplant but at this time there is not a match for him. If no match is found he will then have a stem cell transplant using his sister's cells. His road has been a long one...but he is such a fighter!!!
