Meet Haylee

Haylee is a bright eyed 12 year old girl who in December started a fight for her life. On 12/22/11 she was diagnosed with T Cell or ALL Leukemia. She started chemo right away and spent many, many days in the hospital. Never did she say why me or feel sorry for herself. She continued to be positive and keep a smile on her face. On May 17, 2012 she was admitted to the hospital for the start of high dose chemotherapy and radiation treatments with a bone marrow transplant to follow. May 31, 2012 she was given that transplant and a new lease on life!! She has done exceptionally well since then.. A biopsy in late August came back that she is in complete remission, all her cells are her donors!!! We just celebrated her one year "Re-birthday" from transplant. She is still a little weak and doesn't always feel the greatest, but she is always smiling and is in complete remission!!!
