Meet Libby

Libby was diagnosed March 27, 2012 with Stage 4 Wilms, cancer of the kidney. She had a three pound tumor removed with her right kidney. 6 days later, an echocardiogram revealed that large pieces of that tumor had pushed to heart and pulmonary arteries and she had emergency open heart surgery. 4 days later she began chemotherapy and radiation to her lungs and stomach. On October 1 she had her last chemo and had a clear CT on October 22! She is now in remission and will have scans every 3 months for at least five years.
